What are Counselling and Psychotherapy?
Counselling and Psychotherapy are ‘talking therapies’ that help us work through what troubles us with an experienced practitioner – someone who will truly listen and help us understand things more clearly.
Through better understanding what causes your distress and prevents your moving on, we can work towards finding better ways for you to cope and bring about lasting changes. This may be through a course of shorter-term Counselling designed to focus and bring relief to a specific issue, or through more exploratory, longer-term Psychotherapy. |
