My qualifications and Approach
I am an experienced UKCP accredited Integrative Psychotherapist and BACP registered Counsellor with over ten years therapeutic experience. I am qualified to work with a range of different approaches including short-term, solution focused therapies such as CBT and longer-term, more exploratory therapies from the Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Relational Traditions. As an Integrative therapist, I am able to work flexibly across a wide range of therapeutic models, shaping the therapy to meet each individual’s specific needs. I hold an MA and Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling (The Minster Centre, London) and a Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling (CPPD Counselling School, London). I work in private practice in High Barnet and Crouch End and see clients with a wide range of issues. Alongside my private practice I also see clients attending a specialist service in Enfield. My previous experience includes working in both primary and secondary mental health care settings; working with GP referrals; and within a number of specialist counselling services. In addition to my qualifications and experience, I am committed to my continuing development as a Psychotherapist and Counsellor and regularly asttend workshops, conferences and short courses. I have also undertaken research in the psychotherapeutic field. My clinical work is accredited by UKCP and registered by BACP. My work is fully insured and professionally supervised in accordance with BACP and UKCP guidelines; and I adhere to both BACP and UKCP codes of ethics. |
